ALER Teacher Education Division Proposals

The Teacher Division seeks program proposals for its annual division meeting. The proposals will be submitted electronically this year through the regular conference website.

Under the Type of Presentation option, please click on Teacher Education Division Roundtables to submit your proposals.

All proposals will receive a blind review by members of the TED Committee. Each proposal will be evaluated for its significance based on the themes below, research design (if appropriate), thoroughness, clarity, and appropriateness for the roundtable discussion. Factors that tend to disqualify proposals are failure to complete the proposal according to guidelines, the promotion of commercial materials or programs, or topics that are unrelated to reading or literacy in Teacher Education.

Themes for the TED roundtable discussions should focus on one or more of the following:

·      Teacher Education practices (research or practitioner based)

·      Teacher Education current program or political issues (research or theoretical based)

·      Teacher Education curriculum or other related issues

Each individual who submits a proposal will be notified by the TED Committee’s decision.
